Adamawa Urban Planning Board Orders Traders and Motor Parks to Vacate Structures Along Muhammed Mustapha Way

The Adamawa State Urban and Regional Planning Development Board has directed petty traders, motor parks, and owners of temporary structures along Muhammed Mustapha Way in Jimeta-Yola to vacate their sites on or before Monday, 25th August, 2025.

According to the notice issued on Tuesday, the directive affects meat sellers at Gates 1, 4, and 5 of Jimeta Ultra Modern Market, motor parks along the road, and containers or temporary structures by Gate 2 and 6 along Bishop Street.

The Board stated that the action is in line with the Adamawa State Urban and Regional Planning Law No. 3 of 2010, warning that full compliance is expected.
